South Africa – Rovos Rail to Cape Town and surrounds

South Africa has been described as the world in one country, which gives a visitor a good idea of what to expect when exploring the southern part of Africa and this country that has so much to offer, including a safari with a difference

Itinerary

Day 1

  • Arrive at Capital Park Station in Pretoria to board Rovos Rail to Cape Town.
  • Day 2

  • Experience activities off train and overnight on Rovos Rail.
  • Day 3

  • Arrive in Cape Town and transfer to the St James Manor House for 2 nights
  • Day 4

  • Explore Kalk Bay, Boulders Bay and Simonstown area and overnight at the St James.
  • Day 5 to 7

  • Drive to Bushmans Kloof in the Cedar berg, and explore the area, wildlife, scenary and treatments etc.
  • Day 8 to 10

  • Return by road via Paarl and the Wine route to Cape Town and overnight at the Twelve Apostles Hotel. Explore Cape Town, Table Mountain, the Waterfront, Camps Bay/ beaches etc from the Twelve Apostles.
  • Day 11

  • Depart Cape Town for your next destination.
